Complete Garden Design
The concept design phase lays the foundation onto which all future decisions are based. It is during this phase that aesthetic preferences, spatial constraints, garden wishes and necessities are all discussed. In this phase the client receives a master plan detailing the layout of the garden, and the differentiation of hardscape and planting areas, perspective drawings giving a picture of how the garden will feel, and mood boards of each area showing options for planting, paving, furniture and any other features being introduced to the garden.
Phase 1 - Concept Design
Following the approval of the master plan, the project then moves into detail design where every plant, material and any other items in the garden are specified and approved by the client. From this phase, the budget for the garden can be confirmed and the design can be adjusted as needed.
Phase 2 - Detail Design
Phase 3 - Design Installation
Once all aspects of the design and budget have been approved by the client, a contractor is brought on to build the garden. This includes any structures being placed in the garden, terraces, pathways, soil preparation, and finally planting. Throughout this process, the client will be kept informed of progress as everything is delivered to site and installed.
